Fiddle Leaf Fig x Ficus Lyrata

The fiddle leaf fig is a little insider tip among plant lovers. 🌱

The plant originates from the tropical regions of West Africa and has wonderfully large, lush green leaves. The fiddle leaf fig can grow very large, making it suitable for larger and higher rooms. In smaller sizes, it also beautifies smaller rooms. The houseplant is also valued for its air-purifying effect. The large leaves have been shown to improve the indoor climate.

📍 Location: A bright spot without direct sunlight is suitable for the fiddle leaf fig. Normal room temperature (or even warmer) is optimal. The Ficus Lyrata needs plenty of space and freedom to truly thrive. The leaves should not touch anything or brush against walls.

Tip: Once a suitable location has been found for the fiddle leaf fig, it should ideally not be moved much afterward - this can lead to leaf drop.
